Can't Log In? Step-by-Step Fix

Follow these steps to resolve login issues and regain access to your account.

Step 1: Check Your Google Account

Ilm Al Lughah uses Google authentication exclusively for login — there's no separate username and password for our platform. When you click "Sign In," you'll be redirected to Google's login page. Make sure you're signing in with the same Google account you originally used to create your Ilm Al Lughah account. If you have multiple Google accounts, try each one to find the correct account.

Step 2: Check Your Internet Connection

Login requires a stable internet connection to communicate with both Google's servers and ours. If your connection is weak or intermittent, the login process may fail or hang indefinitely. Try refreshing the page, or switch to a more stable network. If you're on a corporate or school network, the network firewall may be blocking Google's authentication servers — try using a personal network or mobile data instead.

Step 3: Browser & Cookie Settings

Our login system requires cookies and JavaScript to be enabled. If you've blocked cookies for our site or have strict privacy settings, the login flow won't work. In your browser settings, make sure cookies are allowed for ilmallughah.com and accounts.google.com. Also, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt to log in again. Using an incognito/private window can help determine if a browser extension is interfering with the login process.

Step 4: Try a Different Browser or Device

If the above steps don't work, try logging in from a different browser or device. This helps isolate whether the issue is specific to your current setup. If you can log in from another browser, the problem is likely with your original browser's settings or extensions. If you still can't log in from any browser or device, please contact our support team at support@ilmallughah.com with details about the error you're seeing, and we'll investigate your account.
