Ilm Al Lughah is designed to work seamlessly on all modern web browsers. We officially support the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Opera. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, as these browsers offer the strongest support for the web technologies we use, including advanced Arabic text rendering and audio playback.
Minimum Browser Versions
While we strive to support a wide range of browsers, certain older versions may not be fully compatible. We recommend using at least Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Edge 90+, or Safari 14+. If you are using an older browser, you may experience display issues with Arabic diacritics (tashkeel), audio not playing, or interactive quizzes not functioning properly. Updating your browser to the latest version usually resolves these issues.

Known Incompatibilities
Internet Explorer is not supported on Ilm Al Lughah. Microsoft has officially retired Internet Explorer, and it lacks the modern web standards needed for our platform. If you are currently using Internet Explorer, we strongly recommend switching to Microsoft Edge, which is its modern replacement. Additionally, some in-app browsers within social media apps (like Instagram or Facebook) may have limited functionality — for the best experience, always open our platform in your device's default browser.
