Many students on Ilm Al Lughah are enrolled in multiple courses simultaneously — for example, studying Tajweed alongside Simple Arabic, or combining Sarf with the Living the Sunnah program. Our platform is designed to make managing multiple courses easy and intuitive, with a unified dashboard that shows all your progress at a glance.
The multi-course dashboard displays each enrolled course as a card with its progress bar, current completion percentage, most recently completed lesson, and a "Continue" button that takes you directly to your next lesson. Courses are ordered by your most recent activity, so the course you studied most recently appears at the top. You can also pin your favorite or priority courses to keep them at the top regardless of activity recency.
Your XP and streaks are unified across all courses. Any qualifying activity in any course contributes to your daily streak and earns XP. This means you can maintain your streak by studying whichever course you feel like on any given day — there is no pressure to study every course every day. Your total XP reflects all learning across the platform, giving you a single, comprehensive measure of your overall effort.
For managing multiple courses effectively, we recommend: prioritize one or two courses as your primary focus and study them most days, while keeping other courses as secondary activities for days when you want variety. Use the weekly progress report to ensure you are making progress in all enrolled courses over time, even if not every day. Set realistic goals — it is better to make steady progress in two courses than to be overwhelmed by five. You can always pause enrollment in a course and return to it later — your progress is saved permanently.
