Progress tracking on Ilm Al Lughah gives you a clear, motivating view of your learning journey across all courses. Our system tracks multiple dimensions of your progress — not just which lessons you have completed, but how well you understood them, how consistently you study, and how you are improving over time. This holistic approach helps you stay motivated and make informed decisions about where to focus your efforts.
Your progress is tracked at multiple levels: Lesson level — each lesson shows whether it is not started, in progress, or completed, along with your quiz score. Unit level — a percentage showing how much of the unit you have finished, based on lesson completion and assessment scores. Course level — an overall completion percentage for each course you are enrolled in. Platform level — your total XP, streak, and badges across all courses.
The progress dashboard is your central hub for tracking. It displays: a visual progress bar for each course, your current streak count, XP earned today and total, recently completed lessons, upcoming lessons recommended for you, and your weekly activity graph showing how much time you spent studying each day. The dashboard updates in real-time as you complete activities.
Progress tracking is automatic — you do not need to manually mark lessons as complete. The system detects when you have viewed the lesson content and completed the associated quiz (with a passing score of at least 70%), and marks the lesson as complete. Your progress syncs across devices, so you can switch between desktop and mobile (when available) without losing any data. If you ever feel like your progress is not updating correctly, try refreshing the page or logging out and back in.
