We are sorry to see you go! If you have decided to delete your Ilm Al Lughah account, this guide explains the process and what happens to your data. Please read carefully before proceeding, as account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What Gets Deleted
- Your profile information (display name, bio, avatar).
- All course progress, completed lessons, and quiz scores.
- XP points, streaks, badges, and achievement history.
- Flashcard decks and review history.
- Bookmarks and learning goal settings.
How to Delete Your Account
Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm your decision by typing "DELETE" in a confirmation field. After confirmation, your account will be scheduled for deletion and permanently removed within 30 days. During this grace period, you can contact support to cancel the deletion if you change your mind.
Before deleting, we recommend exporting your learning data if you want to keep a record of your progress. You can do this from the Settings page. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Deleting your Ilm Al Lughah account does not affect your Google account in any way. You will simply no longer be able to sign in to our platform with that Google account.
