Signing In with Google

How Google authentication works on Ilm Al Lughah and how to sign in seamlessly.

Ilm Al Lughah uses Google authentication powered by Supabase to provide a secure and frictionless sign-in experience. Instead of managing a separate username and password for our platform, you simply use your existing Google account.

How to Sign In

  • Visit the Ilm Al Lughah website and click the "Sign In" button.
  • Click "Continue with Google" on the authentication page.
  • If you are already signed into Google in your browser, you may be signed in automatically. Otherwise, enter your Google credentials.
  • You will be redirected to your dashboard upon successful authentication.

Why Google Authentication?

We chose Google authentication for several important reasons. First, it eliminates the need for you to create and remember another password. Second, Google's authentication infrastructure provides enterprise-grade security, including protection against phishing and brute-force attacks. Third, it speeds up the sign-in process to just a couple of clicks.

Your Google account is used solely for authentication purposes. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services. The only information we receive is your display name and email address, which are used to set up your profile.

If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure you select the same one each time you sign in to access your learning progress. You can check which account is linked in your Profile Settings.
