If you've completed the beginner courses on Ilm Al Lughah and have a basic understanding of Arabic morphology and syntax, this intermediate study plan will help you take your skills to the next level. At this stage, the goal is to deepen your understanding and start applying grammar rules to real Arabic texts.
Core Study (3-4 days/week): Focus on the intermediate Sarf and Nahw courses. These cover advanced verb forms, the different types of إعراب, complex sentence structures, and the nuances of Arabic particles. Dedicate at least 30 minutes per session, and take notes on concepts that challenge you.
Tajweed Integration (2 days/week): If you haven't started the Tajweed course yet, now is the time. Understanding how Arabic sounds interact will improve both your reading and your grammatical intuition. Many Tajweed rules are connected to grammatical concepts, so studying them in parallel creates powerful cross-references in your mind.
Active Practice (Daily): Spend at least 15 minutes daily on flashcard review. At this stage, your flashcard collection should be substantial, covering vocabulary, grammar rules, and verb conjugation drills. Additionally, try to read short Arabic passages (provided in the "Living the Sunnah" course) and identify the grammatical structures you've learned.
Weekly Review: Set aside one session per week to review previously completed lessons. Retake quizzes to solidify your knowledge and earn extra XP. Revisiting material with fresh eyes often reveals nuances you missed the first time. Aim for a daily XP goal of "Serious" (100 XP) to maintain strong momentum.
