The Quiz Review Mode is one of the most valuable features on Ilm Al Lughah for deepening your understanding. After completing any quiz, you can enter review mode to revisit every question at your own pace — seeing your answer, the correct answer, and a detailed explanation. This feature transforms quizzes from a one-time event into a reusable study resource.
To access Quiz Review Mode, go to any completed quiz from your course page or progress dashboard. You will see a "Review" button next to each quiz you have taken. In review mode, questions are displayed one at a time with: your selected answer (highlighted in green if correct, red if incorrect), the correct answer (highlighted in green), a detailed explanation of why the correct answer is right and why common wrong answers are incorrect, and any relevant references to lesson material.
The review mode also includes a filter function so you can choose to review only the questions you got wrong, only the ones you got right, or all questions. We recommend starting with your wrong answers — these represent your biggest learning opportunities. Read each explanation carefully, and if the concept is still unclear, click the "Go to Lesson" link to jump directly to the relevant lesson material for more context.
A highly effective study technique is to use review mode as a spaced review tool. After completing a quiz, review your wrong answers immediately. Then, come back a few days later and review them again. Research shows that reviewing material at increasing intervals dramatically improves long-term retention. You can also use review mode before retaking a quiz — study the explanations, then attempt the quiz again with fresh understanding.
