Recommended Study Schedule

Suggested daily and weekly study schedules to help you make consistent progress in Arabic.

Consistency is the key to language learning success. Having a structured study schedule helps you build a routine, avoid burnout, and make steady progress through your courses. Below are our recommended study schedules based on different commitment levels.

Light Schedule (15-20 min/day)

  • Monday–Friday: Complete 1 lesson and review 10 flashcards.
  • Saturday: Review all flashcards due and revisit any bookmarked lessons.
  • Sunday: Rest day or light flashcard review only.

Moderate Schedule (30-45 min/day)

  • Monday–Friday: Complete 2 lessons, review all due flashcards, and attempt any available quizzes.
  • Saturday: Deep review session — go back through the week's material and re-read challenging lessons.
  • Sunday: Flashcard review and explore supplementary content in Living the Sunnah or Simple Arabic.

Intensive Schedule (1+ hour/day)

  • Daily: Complete 3-4 lessons, all flashcard reviews, and practice exercises. Focus on one primary course (e.g., Nahw) and supplement with one secondary course (e.g., Simple Arabic).
  • Weekly: Take all available module assessments and review incorrect answers thoroughly.

Remember, the best schedule is one you can maintain consistently. Start with the light schedule if you are new, and gradually increase your commitment as Arabic study becomes a natural part of your daily routine. Use the learning goals feature to set targets that match your chosen schedule.
