The Ilm Al Lughah community is built on a foundation of respect, support, and shared purpose. We are a diverse group of learners from around the world, united by our desire to learn Arabic and deepen our understanding of Islamic knowledge. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced student, you are a valued member of this community. Our guidelines ensure that every learner feels welcome, safe, and motivated.
Core Rules
All community members are expected to follow these core rules: 1) Be respectful — treat every member with kindness, even when you disagree. 2) Be helpful — share knowledge generously and encourage fellow learners. 3) Stay on topic — keep discussions focused on Arabic learning, Islamic studies, and platform-related topics. 4) No harassment or bullying — personal attacks, discrimination, and intimidation have zero tolerance. 5) No spam or self-promotion — do not post unsolicited advertisements or promotional content.
Academic Integrity
Learning is most effective when it's honest. We ask all community members to maintain academic integrity: don't share quiz answers, don't use bots or automated tools to inflate XP or streaks, and don't plagiarize content in discussions. If you're struggling with a concept, ask for help — our community is here to support you. There's no shame in finding something difficult; Arabic is a rich and complex language, and we're all learning together.
Reporting & Enforcement
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the report function or by emailing community@ilmallughah.com. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban, depending on the severity and frequency. We believe in giving people the chance to learn and improve, but we will act decisively to protect the community when necessary.
